Adverse drug reactions to be studied
Swedegene is currently collecting the following adverse drug reactions. More adverse drug reactions will be added to the initial list as the project proceeds and may involve any type.
- Angioedema related to ACE-inhibitors/ARBs.
- Cough related to ACE-inhibitors.
- Osteonecrosis and atypical fractures due to bisphosphonates.
- Phototoxic reactions due to topical NSAIDS and fluoroquinolones.
- Hypersensitivity, mainly to antibiotics and NSAIDs.
- Metabolic reactions from neuroleptics and antidepressants.
- Hyponatremia/SIADH due to antidepressants and antiepileptics.
- CNS toxicity and neuropsychiatric reactions from antiviral therapy and antibiotics.
- Stevens-Johnson syndrome/Toxic epidermal necrolysis.
- Mefloquine-induced psychiatric reactions.
- Tendon-rupture from flouroquinolones.
- Liver toxicity.
- Torsade de Pointes/QT-prolongation.
- Agranulocytosis.
- Rhabdomyolysis and myopahty due to lipid-lowering drugs.
- Rhabdomyolysis related to statins/fibrates.
- Narcolepsy associated with Pandemrix.
- Hearing impairment from aminoglycosides.
- Pancreatitis.
- Thrombocytopenia.
- Renal toxicity.
- Hair loss (alopecia).
- Bleeding due to new oral anticoagulants (NOAC).
- Adverse reactions to Covid-19 vaccines.
